Nice Academy was all set to officially start their English summer camp for Korean students of various ages on the 22nd of July this year. The academy had planned to conduct different activities and programs during the summer camp, which include Speech Day, speech choir for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced, sports festival, culture fair, and English-based quiz bees.
In an interview, NICE Academy Manager Jean Paula Yabut stated that the academy had made efforts to ensure that the academy would not limit a student’s fun during his or her classes and would follow their own set of curriculums made by the academy teachers with the guidance of the academy’s head teacher, Jorge Martinez, and Ms. Yabut herself.
NICE Academy had also added a new subject, Dictation for group class, for this year’s summer camp to improve the previous group classes, which only had Vocabulary and Reading subjects.
“We are thinking of a very productive thing for group classes, but we’re still thinking something like Speech subject for group class and Speaking class.” Ms. Yabut said.
She mentioned that there was an increase in the number of students on this year’s summer camp with over 100 students compared to last year’s summer camp. Due to the increased number of students, the academy will be needing more English teachers until the month of August.
The academy hopes for the success of this year’s summer camp and is looking forward to the upcoming Winter Camp 2019 set to begin this December.
